White Mountain Democrats (WMD) was the first of the Navajo County group to be created. They organized over 25 years ago with members in the Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside, Snowflake Taylor and Heber- Overgaard AZ.
The WMDs are a very active grassroots local group year round. Their primary goal is to elect Democrats up and down the ticket to improve life for all our citizens. WMD regular monthly meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month Soltera Senior Living. They also hold fundraisers throughout the year, and organize and participate in a variety of social and community events. The WMD support their neighbors in LD6, on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, and on the Navajo Nation and assist them in campaigning and voting efforts, as well as ensure fair election boundaries in Arizona as a result of the approaching 2020 census.

The Little Colorado River Democrats (LCRD) is a progressive Community Volunteer organization dedicated to helping elect Democrats in Winslow, Holbrook, Joseph City, and the surrounding communities that include Black Butte, Hubble, Painted Desert, and Antelope precincts.
We are also committed to community volunteer projects.
LCRD has been active in Winslow since 2004 during the Bush/ Kerry Presidental Election. We are interested in growing our relationship with other progressive voters in our communities to protect our Democracy and honor our Constitution by winning the most important elections of our lifetime.
