Affiliated Groups
White Mountain Democrats (WMD) was the first of the Navajo County local groups to be created. They were organized about 20 years ago with members mainly in the Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ areas.
The WMDs are a very active grassroots local group year round. Their primary goal is to elect Democrats up and down the ticket to improve life for all our citizens. WMD regular monthly meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month at the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Hall (see Calendar). They also hold fundraisers throughout the year, and organize and participate in a variety of social and community events. The WMD support their neighbors in LD6, on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, and on the Navajo Nation and assist them in campaigning and voting efforts, as well as ensure fair election boundaries in Arizona as a result of the approaching 2020 census.

The Little Colorado River Democrats (LCRD) is a progressive organization dedicated to helping elect Democrats in the towns of Winslow, Holbrook, Joseph City, and the surrounding communities that include Black Butte, Hubble, Painted Desert, and Antelope precincts.
LCRD are a relatively new local group within the Navajo County Democrats. As such, we are interested in growing our membership with others in our communities as we focus on winning the most important elections of our lifetimes. Please join this enthusiastic group dedicated to building our capacity to get out the vote in 2020!
